The summer of gaming 2024 is here! We got summer games fest, the Xbox Showcase, Sony State of Play(last week), and the Ubisoft Forward! We have news from all of it! And did you expect a Perfect Dark gameplay reveal? Cause I didn't. So many games are coming to gamepass, and so many games are staying on Xbox, except DOOM but thats ok, its a Mad World. Also more hungers games is coming, both on the page and on the screen, Netflix is expaning its Nickelodeon world, and its Zack Snyder world, meanwhile Max is growing Westeros and Middle Earth. WB also seems to doubling down on Anime. Plus is Marvels Blade in trouble again? Plus Alamo Drafthouse is saved by Sony.

HI Peanut! Boy was that Deadpool and Wolverine trailer just glorious. Just inject it straight into my corneas. Also, Embracer group was apparently not too big to fail, as they are splitting into 3 sperate companies. Meta announces new partnerships for the quest, and a price drop for the Quest 2. Jack Black is unsurprisingly playing Steve in the Minecraft movie, Sony wants to buy Paramount, and Zoolander 2 was a wake up call for Ben Stiller. That and more, come take a listen.

You read that correctly, the state of the gaming world is unreal, as in Unreal Engine. As the GDC is fully underway, there was still a lot of news to get through. From Epic games having their state of Unreal, to Saber Interactive breaking free from Embracers embrace, to the failure of the PSVR 2, and Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection taking a nosedive. Also Popeye, The Cat in the Hat, and The Never Ending Story are all making some kind of comeback, The Acolyte gets its first trailer, and Dune Pt. 2 continues to sizzle as the box office. X-Men 97 is robbing us all of the cake, well, maybe, at least that is what the trailer is telling us. Marvel is also looking to dump Kang and his council, while DC is not printing money and is avoiding a Batman Beyond movie. How the could fumble the bag that much is beyond me. Well the Golden Globes happened, and CES is still underway, hopefully you wont confuse the two. Lucasfilm dropped a thermal detonator's worth of news, a new star wars film, and a shows renewal. Xbox takes the first stage of 2024, and Star Citizen wants to take all your money, after it already did so. Layoffs continue in the gaming industry, as Hollywood kicks it back into high gear.
