If the title wasn't a giveaway, we have learned that Charles Martinet will not longer be the voice of Mario in future Mario games, tis a sad day in gaming. Yet at the same time Gamescom is currently going on in Germany, and we got a wealth of gaming news to talk about. Activision pulled the lid off of the Modern Warfare III, Atari is trying to make another comeback, and oh yeah, Microsoft is selling Activision streaming rights to Ubisoft. Meanwhile in Hollywoodland, the WGA continue their strike and call out the big three, Disney announces a slew of physical releases for digital only shows, and Ahsoka is the best live action Star Wars show, full stop. Plus I give my honest opinion about my top 10 favorite 80s movies.

We had some big gaming news over the last week between EVO 2023 and Pokémon Presents, thus giving us something to feast on before Gamescon. Meanwhile there has been a lot of movement out of Hollywood, not necessarily on the strike front, but news nonetheless. Barbie made a billion in under 20 days, Disney+ is following in Netflix's footsteps, and while Max is pulling a pandemic Netflix. Lin Manuel Miranda wants to adapt a classic for the stage, and Pixar isn't worried about the future. We cap off the show with the best movies from the 1970s.

What happens when all the major studios pull out of comic con? nothing really, it keeps going because comic con is more then movies and television. We also learned about some major Ubisoft shakeups, kart racers are making a comeback, and Sony's Project Q leaks. Plus Barbenheimer makes for the 4th biggest box office weekend, MOVIES are in fact back! Also due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA and WGA Strikes, i have dedicated some time talking about old movies, this week we have my favorite movies made in the 1950's.

This week we have a review of DC's The Flash, and after a long wait, it did not disappoint. Nintendo held a long and fruitful direct. Netflix held their annual Tudum event, and the FTC is smoking the same stuff as the UK's CMA. We also got news on two PlayStation movie ventures, Star Trek Strange New Worlds returns to screens, and Sony dropped a bloody and brutal Kraven the Hunter Trailer.

Looks like those AMC Stonks really worked in our favor, (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻. I am overjoyed that I don't have an AMC near me, because if I did, I would be even angrier. Any who, we had a Pokémon-less Nintendo Direct, but it was heavy on the Zelda, The UK and the EU write stern warning in regards to the Activision Microsoft Deal. Sony has a great gaming quarter, and the Switch jumps to #3 all time. The Justin Roiland drama heats up to a new level, and makes me happy about Rick & Morty's future, The Bad Batch may have peaked, and we get to return to Point Place, Wisconsin for another summer. Meanwhile we have what's new on Streaming, as well as news out of Disney, and of course, the aforementioned nonsense coming from AMC.
