Star Trek has found its new Bones and Sulu, yet we have to wait a while before we actually see them. The video game industry lost a true legend, and we salute everything Vince Zampella brought us. I just may, whaddya say? Comic-Con came and went this year, and maybe because the MCU and DCU were so muted, but there were still some good announcements. Xbox says game pass revenue is up, so is it profitable? Wolfenstein is heading to TV, and EA says no to $80. Air Bud is returning and I have serious questions, South Park takes time in its return, Star Trek goes all in on Comic Con, plus reviews of Happy Gilmore 2 and Fantastic Four!

I am Not currently being sued by Nintendo, which seems to be a shrinking club everyday. LOL, I kid, but Nintendo isnt, as they win a lawsuit and begin a new one. Tony Hawk is teasing a 25th Anniversary announcement, Sony is all up in the news for good and bad reasons, and Vince Zampella has some wild takes. We have a review of Godzilla Minus One, which im gonna say now, my favorite movie of 2023, hands down. We also got the game awards last week, over 20 new games announced, most of which had no release dates, Baldur's Gate 3 was the big winner, no surprises. We also saw the announcement of several movies, and the release of several trailers for big upcoming sequels. Barbie and Succession dominate the Golden Globe Nominees, and we lost a great star of Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

Looks like those AMC Stonks really worked in our favor, (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻. I am overjoyed that I don't have an AMC near me, because if I did, I would be even angrier. Any who, we had a Pokémon-less Nintendo Direct, but it was heavy on the Zelda, The UK and the EU write stern warning in regards to the Activision Microsoft Deal. Sony has a great gaming quarter, and the Switch jumps to #3 all time. The Justin Roiland drama heats up to a new level, and makes me happy about Rick & Morty's future, The Bad Batch may have peaked, and we get to return to Point Place, Wisconsin for another summer. Meanwhile we have what's new on Streaming, as well as news out of Disney, and of course, the aforementioned nonsense coming from AMC.
