Ubisoft decided to lay a big one on the gaming industry by cancelling another Prince of Persia game, and Netflix wants to keep WB movies on the big screen if the merger goes through. Air Bud is returning and I have serious questions, South Park takes time in its return, Star Trek goes all in on Comic Con, plus reviews of Happy Gilmore 2 and Fantastic Four!

Borderlands ends its sad run, Donald Glover wants to bring fun back to star wars, and Gary Oldman is open to going back to the Wizard World. That plus more.

We have a review of Godzilla Minus One, which im gonna say now, my favorite movie of 2023, hands down. We also got the game awards last week, over 20 new games announced, most of which had no release dates, Baldur's Gate 3 was the big winner, no surprises. We also saw the announcement of several movies, and the release of several trailers for big upcoming sequels. Barbie and Succession dominate the Golden Globe Nominees, and we lost a great star of Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

Meanwhile, in Hollywood, WarnerBros delays movies, Disney releases streaming data, and the Late Night hosts launch a podcast. Also my favorite 80s SciFi movies.

Looks like those AMC Stonks really worked in our favor, (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻. I am overjoyed that I don't have an AMC near me, because if I did, I would be even angrier. Any who, we had a Pokémon-less Nintendo Direct, but it was heavy on the Zelda, The UK and the EU write stern warning in regards to the Activision Microsoft Deal. Sony has a great gaming quarter, and the Switch jumps to #3 all time. The Justin Roiland drama heats up to a new level, and makes me happy about Rick & Morty's future, The Bad Batch may have peaked, and we get to return to Point Place, Wisconsin for another summer. Meanwhile we have what's new on Streaming, as well as news out of Disney, and of course, the aforementioned nonsense coming from AMC.

Then in the biggest news of the week James Gunn and Peter Safran finally lay out their grand design for DC and somehow it includes Booster Gold.

NVIDIA and Google voice their concerns over the Activision deal, but stop short of jumping in Sony's bandwagon. Pour one out for Stadia, as today was its final day. Mark Hamill gives and update on playing the Joker, Spielberg wants to jump into TV, the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers are coming back. Meanwhile the BatVerse is more real then you realize, James Cameron hits another Billion, and Rainbow Six is coming to the big screen.

Also Maria Hill is back in the MCU, Peacemaker is gonna be good, and Colin Farrell is treading in familiar waters as we get another Gotham show about the Penguin. Also Spider-Man Across the Spiderverse gets a trailer, Kevin Feige confirms Charlie Cox's retrun, and Patty Jenkins isnt out of Rogue Squadron yet.
