Sony really does not have a gamer first mentality and if you think they do, stop drinking the Kool-Aid. Xbox shows up to play at TGS, Ubisoft faces its second strike in a year, Blizzard is making some interesting moves, and California wants gamers to be informed. Well folks its finally happening, a Mafia game set in Sicily at the turn of the 20th Century! I am very excited! But that wasn't the only news out of Gamescom this week, another Bethesda title is going multiplatform, old franchises are returning, and new adaptations are unexpectedly coming! Also, don't go after actors for roles they play, they aren't really those characters! Meanwhile, Deadpool & Wolverine continues to break records, Indiana Jones's hat sells for over $600k, and The Acolyte is sent packing. Nic Cage, now here's a guy, will be playing John Madden, and forget the chicken sandwich war, Chick-fil-a is jumping into the streaming wars.

Just sit there and stew a while with that title. Once you get that out of the way, we got a bit to talk about. The Acolyte just dropped a action packed, death filled episode, and hinted at ties to the sequel trilogy. Eddie Murphy dropping extremely unexpected Shrek news, and HBO gets what MAX didnt!
