    NYCC 2023 came and went with a whimper, im not kidding. But hey the Xbox finally completed their purchase of ActivisionBlizzard ending the 2 year nightmare. also unfortunately the SAG-AFTRA strike will continue, it seems they wont get the same concessions that the WGA got in their strike.     Well the PS5 Slim is real, and its hideous, yes its hideous, but its modular. Marvel Studios has also announced a complete overhaul of how it will approach its Disney+ shows moving forward, including starting Daredevil Born Again from scratch. We also have a lot of news about Cyberpunk2077 and CDProjektRed, Ubisoft has hopes for Assassins Creed's future, Activision is prepping for its new ownership.     Its not October 3rd, but thats ok. Got a bit of a doozy this week, Sony scrubs all mention of the KotoR Remake from their socails, and acts like its perfectly normal, several Ubisoft execs were arrested by French Police, and the French Govt. raids Nvidia, its a bad day to be in the French gaming industry. As the writers get back to work, SAG meets with the studios to try and negotiate their deal, as streamers seek to increase their rates yet again. Also we have a review of the Ahsoka season finale, as well as Gareth Edward's The Creator. We wrap up the show with our last list of 80s movies, this week, Drama.

    You read that title correctly, the second longest WGA strike is officially over! But as that ends, the SAG strike continues, and a SAG strike against the video game publishers looms. Meanwhile, final wrap ups from Tokyo Game Show, The Xbox Activision Deal is finally free to close, Jim Ryan is retiring from PlayStation, and Meta drops details about the Meta Quest 3. In Hollywood, Netflix debuts trailers for a lot of new animation, Amazon is bringing ad's to Prime Video, and Dan Harmon opens up about his working "relationship" with Justin Roiland. To cap off the show we have my favorite 10 80s Family Movies.

    And just like that, Thrawn is alive, and in person in Ahsoka. Would I have believed you if you told me five years ago Thrawn would appear in person, probably not, yet here we are. Also Microsoft really needs to find staff members that can upload a redacted document, that stays redacted. Because those leaks are no joke, especially when "private" emails are made public. Also It seems like the Writers may have scored a major victory against the studios. That and a hell of a lot more, come take a listen.

    unity decided to just drop a nuke on the game development world and the both backtracked and doubled down, but so far it has cause among us to be pulled from storefronts.     Another summer ends, that means its new game season, and to start it off we have my early thoughts on Starfield, which is definitely going to be one of my favorite games. We also have a potential third strike coming as SAG-AFTRA looks to strike against the video game publishers. Doug Bowser opens up about Nintendo's future, and Skull & Bones hits another hurdle. Adam Drive, Aaron Paul and others speak out against the AMPTP, Toho drops a big new Godzilla trailer, and Ahsoka was amazing. Also my top 10 80s animated movies gets a shoutout.

    If the title wasn't a giveaway, we have learned that Charles Martinet will not longer be the voice of Mario in future Mario games, tis a sad day in gaming. Yet at the same time Gamescom is currently going on in Germany, and we got a wealth of gaming news to talk about. Activision pulled the lid off of the Modern Warfare III, Atari is trying to make another comeback, and oh yeah, Microsoft is selling Activision streaming rights to Ubisoft. Meanwhile in Hollywoodland, the WGA continue their strike and call out the big three, Disney announces a slew of physical releases for digital only shows, and Ahsoka is the best live action Star Wars show, full stop. Plus I give my honest opinion about my top 10 favorite 80s movies.

    We had some big gaming news over the last week between EVO 2023 and Pokémon Presents, thus giving us something to feast on before Gamescon. Meanwhile there has been a lot of movement out of Hollywood, not necessarily on the strike front, but news nonetheless. Barbie made a billion in under 20 days, Disney+ is following in Netflix's footsteps, and while Max is pulling a pandemic Netflix. Lin Manuel Miranda wants to adapt a classic for the stage, and Pixar isn't worried about the future. We cap off the show with the best movies from the 1970s.

    What happens when all the major studios pull out of comic con? nothing really, it keeps going because comic con is more then movies and television. We also learned about some major Ubisoft shakeups, kart racers are making a comeback, and Sony's Project Q leaks. Plus Barbenheimer makes for the 4th biggest box office weekend, MOVIES are in fact back! Also due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA and WGA Strikes, i have dedicated some time talking about old movies, this week we have my favorite movies made in the 1950's.

    If the title doesn't give it away, Wolverine is finally wearing his comics accurate suit. THIS IS NOT A DRILL! 24 years later and its finally happening. Anyway, Microsoft seems to have won its case against the FTC, and its acquisition of ActivisionBlizzard should be able to go through. The Emmys have announced their nominees, Ashoka released a trailer, and Bog Iger isn't going anywhere anytime soon. That and a whole lot more.
