    If the title wasn't a giveaway, we have learned that Charles Martinet will not longer be the voice of Mario in future Mario games, tis a sad day in gaming. Yet at the same time Gamescom is currently going on in Germany, and we got a wealth of gaming news to talk about. Activision pulled the lid off of the Modern Warfare III, Atari is trying to make another comeback, and oh yeah, Microsoft is selling Activision streaming rights to Ubisoft. Meanwhile in Hollywoodland, the WGA continue their strike and call out the big three, Disney announces a slew of physical releases for digital only shows, and Ahsoka is the best live action Star Wars show, full stop. Plus I give my honest opinion about my top 10 favorite 80s movies.

And this time we have some Pokémon News, CoD news, and the identity of the Embracer Groups mystery almost investor, also Keith David joins another premier Bungie franchise. On the Hollywood side of things, the WGA and AMPTP seem to have gone back to the negotiating table, Wonder Woman 3 seems to be maybe happening, maybe not, Barbie continues to break records, and Hollywood accounting strikes again with Mission Impossible and Indiana Jones.

    We had some big gaming news over the last week between EVO 2023 and Pokémon Presents, thus giving us something to feast on before Gamescon. Meanwhile there has been a lot of movement out of Hollywood, not necessarily on the strike front, but news nonetheless. Barbie made a billion in under 20 days, Disney+ is following in Netflix's footsteps, and while Max is pulling a pandemic Netflix. Lin Manuel Miranda wants to adapt a classic for the stage, and Pixar isn't worried about the future. We cap off the show with the best movies from the 1970s.

PlayStation 5 continues to match its predecessors, and outsells its competition, and Microsoft decides to start selling you parts to fix your controllers.     What happens when all the major studios pull out of comic con? nothing really, it keeps going because comic con is more then movies and television. We also learned about some major Ubisoft shakeups, kart racers are making a comeback, and Sony's Project Q leaks. Plus Barbenheimer makes for the 4th biggest box office weekend, MOVIES are in fact back! Also due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA and WGA Strikes, i have dedicated some time talking about old movies, this week we have my favorite movies made in the 1950's.

    If the title doesn't give it away, Wolverine is finally wearing his comics accurate suit. THIS IS NOT A DRILL! 24 years later and its finally happening. Anyway, Microsoft seems to have won its case against the FTC, and its acquisition of ActivisionBlizzard should be able to go through. The Emmys have announced their nominees, Ashoka released a trailer, and Bog Iger isn't going anywhere anytime soon. That and a whole lot more.

    This week was a doozy, how about that FTC v. Xbox case, that is a bonafied shit show. Sony and Microsoft say some wild things in their emails, thats for sure.     This week we have a review of DC's The Flash, and after a long wait, it did not disappoint. Nintendo held a long and fruitful direct. Netflix held their annual Tudum event, and the FTC is smoking the same stuff as the UK's CMA.     E3 might be cancelled, but what happened over the last few days sure feels like E3. We had an Xbox Games Showcase, Ubisoft Forward, Summer Games Fest, Capcom Showcase, and and whole lot more. And boy, how about that Starfield Direct, that is the first time I've been excited for a Bethesda game.
