You read that correctly, the state of the gaming world is unreal, as in Unreal Engine. As the GDC is fully underway, there was still a lot of news to get through. From Epic games having their state of Unreal, to Saber Interactive breaking free from Embracers embrace, to the failure of the PSVR 2, and Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection taking a nosedive. Also Popeye, The Cat in the Hat, and The Never Ending Story are all making some kind of comeback, The Acolyte gets its first trailer, and Dune Pt. 2 continues to sizzle as the box office. Well the Golden Globes happened, and CES is still underway, hopefully you wont confuse the two. Lucasfilm dropped a thermal detonator's worth of news, a new star wars film, and a shows renewal. Xbox takes the first stage of 2024, and Star Citizen wants to take all your money, after it already did so. Layoffs continue in the gaming industry, as Hollywood kicks it back into high gear.
