That's right, we got a lot more sequel announcements at The Game Awards then anyone may have expected! And we aren't done with awards, as the Golden Globe Nominees were announced as well, and it looks like were in for an interesting ride. Meanwhile what the hell is going on at DC, James Gunn seems to have a massive amount of possible or not possible leaks on his hands. Meanwhile, the FTC is now the third regulatory body to "look deeper" into the Microsoft acquisition of Activision Blizzard.

There is definitely a noticeable difference when E3 doesn't happen. Yet the gaming worlds keeps trucking. Sony dropped their state of play last week, which revelated Street Fighter 6 to the world. Sonic decided to stop by and announce new licensing deals. CoD is coming back with a vengeance. Netflix hosts its annual Geeked Week, and the CW is just idk man. Meanwhile Top Gun continues its dominance, Joker 2 is a real thing, and Beavis and Butthead Return!

The Microsoft acquisition of Bethesda is complete, so what does that mean for the future? Marvels avengers is not helping its case, and is heading down the Anthem path. WandaVision had an underwhelming finale, and the Flash is setting up things to come. While the Powerpuff girls are headed to the CW. Star Trek once again teases its film future.
