You read that correctly, the state of the gaming world is unreal, as in Unreal Engine. As the GDC is fully underway, there was still a lot of news to get through. From Epic games having their state of Unreal, to Saber Interactive breaking free from Embracers embrace, to the failure of the PSVR 2, and Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection taking a nosedive. Also Popeye, The Cat in the Hat, and The Never Ending Story are all making some kind of comeback, The Acolyte gets its first trailer, and Dune Pt. 2 continues to sizzle as the box office. That and a whole lot more.

X-Men 97 is robbing us all of the cake, well, maybe, at least that is what the trailer is telling us. Marvel is also looking to dump Kang and his council, while DC is not printing money and is avoiding a Batman Beyond movie. How the could fumble the bag that much is beyond me. Also XBOX clarifies its future, and dumped water all of the nonsense fires that were burning on twitter. Nintendo dropped a direct, and with it the return of one of the best Star Wars games :Star Wars Battlefront II from 2005! That and more come take a listen.

And just like that, Thrawn is alive, and in person in Ahsoka. Would I have believed you if you told me five years ago Thrawn would appear in person, probably not, yet here we are. Also Microsoft really needs to find staff members that can upload a redacted document, that stays redacted. Because those leaks are no joke, especially when "private" emails are made public. Starfield continues to dominate the headlines and gaming charts, SquareEnix may be facing a interesting situation, and the iPhone is getting AAA gaming support. And boy, how about that Starfield Direct, that is the first time I've been excited for a Bethesda game. Also the Writers strike claims new victims, unsurprisingly, Netflix gets new subscribers, and stick around for a spoiler filled review of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.

Is E3 dead again? seems like it. PSVR2 dead on arrival? Halo Infinite dead? why is everything dying in the video game industry???
