The Oscars were this weekend, and surprise surprise, PTA won big, while Chalamet went home with nothing. We also got two big trailers this week, Dune Pt. 3 and Spider-Man: Brand New Day! Pokémon Go was used to farm us for AR images and map data, and Nvidia says we're wrong about DLSS5. Plus we have the Scooby gang all casted for Netflix's upcoming adaptation.

Speaking of scary movies, the Wayans's dropped a trailer for their big return to Scary Movie, and HBO graced us with a trailer for its upcoming Green Lantern Show Lanterns. A week after the Super Bowl and we finally got The Mandalorian and Grogu trailer, took long enough. Also Warner Bros seems to finally relent and gives Paramount 7 days to try again. If the Simpsons ever ends, which is probably more likely than you think, it wont spend time on a grand finale. PlayStation held a state of play last week, and it was heavy on Kratos, plus if you are waiting on a steam deck, blame AI.

Well Star Wars fans can continue to argue, because Kathleen Kennedy stepping down certainly wont stop them. The summer of gaming 2024 is here! We got summer games fest, the Xbox Showcase, Sony State of Play(last week), and the Ubisoft Forward! We have news from all of it! And did you expect a Perfect Dark gameplay reveal? Cause I didn't. So many games are coming to gamepass, and so many games are staying on Xbox, except DOOM but thats ok, its a Mad World. Also more hungers games is coming, both on the page and on the screen, Netflix is expaning its Nickelodeon world, and its Zack Snyder world, meanwhile Max is growing Westeros and Middle Earth. WB also seems to doubling down on Anime. Plus is Marvels Blade in trouble again? Plus Alamo Drafthouse is saved by Sony.
