And the Award goes too...boy was that a fun Oscars telecast, I enjoyed it. Full of nonsurprises. Also the world mourns the loss of a great man, we lost the Great Akira Toriyama last week, he provided to much to so many people, he will never be forgotten. Well the Oscars just went out and proved the Barbie movie right, are we surprised, yes, should we be? No... Well the Golden Globes happened, and CES is still underway, hopefully you wont confuse the two. Lucasfilm dropped a thermal detonator's worth of news, a new star wars film, and a shows renewal. Xbox takes the first stage of 2024, and Star Citizen wants to take all your money, after it already did so. Layoffs continue in the gaming industry, as Hollywood kicks it back into high gear. We have a review of Godzilla Minus One, which im gonna say now, my favorite movie of 2023, hands down. We also got the game awards last week, over 20 new games announced, most of which had no release dates, Baldur's Gate 3 was the big winner, no surprises. We also saw the announcement of several movies, and the release of several trailers for big upcoming sequels. Barbie and Succession dominate the Golden Globe Nominees, and we lost a great star of Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

Pour one out for the realest, PeeWee Herman, we lost a real one this week. What happens when all the major studios pull out of comic con? nothing really, it keeps going because comic con is more then movies and television. We also learned about some major Ubisoft shakeups, kart racers are making a comeback, and Sony's Project Q leaks. Plus Barbenheimer makes for the 4th biggest box office weekend, MOVIES are in fact back! Also due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA and WGA Strikes, i have dedicated some time talking about old movies, this week we have my favorite movies made in the 1950's.

This week we have a review of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-verse, which you wont want to miss.
