Well folks its finally happening, a Mafia game set in Sicily at the turn of the 20th Century! I am very excited! But that wasn't the only news out of Gamescom this week, another Bethesda title is going multiplatform, old franchises are returning, and new adaptations are unexpectedly coming! Also, don't go after actors for roles they play, they aren't really those characters! Well would you look at that, 6 years in, we are still rambling about nonsense. Ubisoft finally announces and shows off its newest Assassin's Creed, Shadows, set in feudal Japan, allowing everyone to play out their Shogun dreams. Meanwhile, Square Enix is finally going to support a multiplatform agenda, and Helldivers breaks a record. Hello All! Another week, another rant, but not as heated. As you can tell by the title its about Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League, and boy am I not happy. We also had a state of play from Sony, Microsoft gutted Blizzard, and Mass Effect is headed to Destiny. Meanwhile The Thunderbolts loses several stars, Supergirl is found, Denis Villeneuve has plans for Dune 3. We have a review of Godzilla Minus One, which im gonna say now, my favorite movie of 2023, hands down. We also got the game awards last week, over 20 new games announced, most of which had no release dates, Baldur's Gate 3 was the big winner, no surprises. We also saw the announcement of several movies, and the release of several trailers for big upcoming sequels. Barbie and Succession dominate the Golden Globe Nominees, and we lost a great star of Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
