And the Award goes too...boy was that a fun Oscars telecast, I enjoyed it. Full of nonsurprises. Also the world mourns the loss of a great man, we lost the Great Akira Toriyama last week, he provided to much to so many people, he will never be forgotten. And In the best news, Patty Jenkins is still making her Rogue Squadron movie for Lucasfilm! Plus we learned about a cancelled Spider-Man multiplayer game, Mario has his MAR10 day, and Shrek 2 is coming back to theaters. Come take a listen!

A24 and Kojima make a match made in heaven, Insomniac is hacked, and we learn their future. PS5 continues Sony's dominance in the gaming space, and Bobby Kotick is finally leaving Activision. Several streaming shows are getting renewed for their final seasons, and Curb is ending. Pretty, Pretty, Pretty, not good. The MCU's second greatest villain may not actual be a thing anymore, and I watched Barbie. Plus my top 10 Christmas movies.

We have a review of Godzilla Minus One, which im gonna say now, my favorite movie of 2023, hands down. We also got the game awards last week, over 20 new games announced, most of which had no release dates, Baldur's Gate 3 was the big winner, no surprises. We also saw the announcement of several movies, and the release of several trailers for big upcoming sequels. Barbie and Succession dominate the Golden Globe Nominees, and we lost a great star of Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

Another summer ends, that means its new game season, and to start it off we have my early thoughts on Starfield, which is definitely going to be one of my favorite games. We also have a potential third strike coming as SAG-AFTRA looks to strike against the video game publishers. Doug Bowser opens up about Nintendo's future, and Skull & Bones hits another hurdle. Adam Drive, Aaron Paul and others speak out against the AMPTP, Toho drops a big new Godzilla trailer, and Ahsoka was amazing. Also my top 10 80s animated movies gets a shoutout.

And this time we have some Pokémon News, CoD news, and the identity of the Embracer Groups mystery almost investor, also Keith David joins another premier Bungie franchise. On the Hollywood side of things, the WGA and AMPTP seem to have gone back to the negotiating table, Wonder Woman 3 seems to be maybe happening, maybe not, Barbie continues to break records, and Hollywood accounting strikes again with Mission Impossible and Indiana Jones.

We had some big gaming news over the last week between EVO 2023 and Pokémon Presents, thus giving us something to feast on before Gamescon. Meanwhile there has been a lot of movement out of Hollywood, not necessarily on the strike front, but news nonetheless. Barbie made a billion in under 20 days, Disney+ is following in Netflix's footsteps, and while Max is pulling a pandemic Netflix. Lin Manuel Miranda wants to adapt a classic for the stage, and Pixar isn't worried about the future. We cap off the show with the best movies from the 1970s.

The Emmys have announced their nominees, Ashoka released a trailer, and Bog Iger isn't going anywhere anytime soon. That and a whole lot more.
